This is so cool

Thanks Michael, what did you find cool about it?

I have been trying to do this unconsciously for a long time, with some success. I’ve been seeking for two things: first principles, and practical utility. But I’ve struggled to have the time to flesh out what’s downstream of principles. But I tend to be drawn to what I find to be true, even if it’s not necessarily a generative worldview. Lots to think about it!

I'd love to learn how to build my own philosophies for my life and being part of a free thinking group of people. Please send me the course. Thanks!

If I am told HOW to build my own philosophy by an EXTERNAL source, is it really MY philosophy?

You might have some criticisms of the course which is welcome! It's more a guiding framework. You're welcome to change it. Trust me there's plenty of variation and choice to make it completely yours. You can see his other posts for more details. You're the one answering the prompts with reflection.

I have been thinking more recently how personal responsibility is a foundation stone for ethical consideration 🤔

Couldn't love this piece any more. It's returned me to the idea that there needs to be a version of this for leadership.

Funny thing. I took this so far as to write my own philosophy as a book over ten years ago. The book was called 'More'. I've changed so much since then that if I had to write my personal philosophy book now, it would probably be called 'Less'! Just goes to prove your point that a personal philosophy needs to grow and develop along with you and the world around you.

Awesome article, thank you. You've sparked a mini-fire in my belly , and I want to really be intentional and deliberate with establishing my own micro-philosophy. Sort of amazing that we can live years and years without even really thinking about it. I'd love to get the course please.

There are many paths up the mountain, but the steps we take are ours and no one exactly follows anothers footsteps.
